1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III - Serial number LSHS-261. Factory LHD

Partially complete project:

Circumstances force the sale of this terrific example of the last of the Classic Rolls Royce motorcars.

All numbers match.

It was a daily driver until taken down for a complete restoration.

The entire drive train has been disassembled for restoration.

The project includes many new parts and accessories.

The body has been completely stripped, professionally restored and is nearly flawless.

The finish is DuPont two-tone: Burnished Gold Pearl Metallic over Oak Green Metallic. Paint numbers are H9593 and F4485.....Absolutely Beautiful!

The interior is completely new, with all new leather and piping, headliner, wall panels, seats, armrests and carpet. The new interior has never been sat in!

Many new parts, including Decarb kit, piston rings, starter, fuel pump and complete rubber kit, battery cable, trim fabric and much, much more.

The drive train, under fender accessories, leaf springs, brake and shock damper systems remain to be restored.

The car "had" factory air, the compressor was on the engine (not a rear-mount). The compressor was exchanged for an aftermarket unit. It is a "Sankyo" I believe. It always worked well!

No wiring has been replaced to my knowledge

The transmission was slipping when the car was taken-down. It will require a rebuild

I am not aware of any differential work having been done

The speedometer was inoperative when I acquired the car. It read 69,095. Still does. It has been my intention to purchase a new one when the restoration was complete

The chrome has not been redone

Most of the parts you see in the photos have to do with the engine. I have a new Decarb kit (gasket kit) for the engine, new starter, new fuel pump, complete rubber trim kit, trim material rolls, distributor cap, ignition wires and much more that doesn't come to mind. I will have to look/list

I had the wood refinished locally.  The trim piece that goes behind the interior right rear window is missing.

Once completed, this motorcar will be an almost new '65 Silver Cloud III! This motorcar will become someone's awesome Classic Rolls Royce! The project is located at a private residence in northwest Houston.

The asking price of $29,500 is reflective of the cost of the cosmetics and new parts.
