It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Houston on March 26, 2006 when 70 Members and Guests gathered for a private viewing of John O’Quinn's collection of Classic Cars. There were 1911 and 1912 Rolls-Royces in addition to 300 other great classic cars from all eras. None of us has ever seen such an incredible display under one roof.
We want to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. O'Quinn for extending the invitation to our club.
Following the Classic Car viewing we caravaned to the Black Lab pub where we had dinner and celebrated the Birthday of Sir Frederick Henry Royce. John Sweney, Official Toastmaster, offered a stirring toast to Sir Henry. We all joined in and sang Happy Birthday to Sir Henry who would have been 143 on March 27.
This event was well attended. We had members travel from the Hill Country, Austin, Jackson, MS, and New Orleans, LA.
Thanks to all who attended. Your contribution to making it a great day for all was appreciated. Thank you Cathie for bringing the tasty birthday cake.

We started the day with a visit to the John O' Quinn Classy Classic Cars Collection
Our appreciation to John O' Quinn and Darla Lexington for sharing the cars with us.
Another group photo. Do you know
how hard it is to get 70 people in one photo much less in one place?
That is why all who attended the Birthday Party are not in the photo.
